Terms of Use
These guidelines describe how to use the RingoView app and supplement the license terms that have been effectively agreed upon. They are intentionally written to be easy to understand: RingoView is a tool for developers that analyzes your own App Store metrics on your device—without requiring an account with the provider and without ads.

1. Provider and Scope
The provider of RingoView is the person named above.
These terms describe the use of RingoView. To the extent that they contain contractual provisions, these apply only if they have been effectively incorporated into the user agreement. Mere publication here or continued use of the app does not constitute the legally required consent.
For licensing via the App Store, Apple’s standard End User License Agreement applies, unless a separate, valid license agreement for RingoView has been agreed upon there. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
2. Purpose and Functionality
RingoView displays downloads, revenue, subscriptions, financial reports, and customer reviews for your own apps, which you upload via a self-generated API key from App Store Connect. Without a connection, the app displays demo data.
The figures are sourced from Apple’s reports and are processed, converted, and summarized by the app. Conversions to your display currency are approximations; only Apple’s billing statements are binding.
Summaries and responses in the AI section are generated by a language model on the device. They may be incomplete or incorrect and do not replace your own verification of the figures or constitute tax or legal advice.
Responses to reviews that you submit from the app are published via App Store Connect. You are responsible for their content; Apple’s guidelines apply.
3. Usage Costs, Purchase via the App Store
Whether RingoView is offered and at what price is determined by the App Store. The app contains no advertisements.
Purchases and downloads are made through Apple’s App Store; Apple is the contracting party for the purchase. Apple’s terms and conditions apply to payment, billing, refunds, and the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content. As a consumer, you are entitled to the statutory warranty rights for digital products (Sections 327 et seq. of the German Civil Code [BGB]); these rights are not limited by this notice.
You are responsible for the costs of your Apple device, your internet connection, your membership in the Apple Developer Program, and, if applicable, iCloud storage.
4. Right of Use
You are granted a simple, non-transferable right to use RingoView for your own purposes on the Apple devices that you own or lawfully control.
The app itself—including the source code, name, icon, design, and technical implementation—remains the property of the provider or the respective rights holders.
In particular, the following are not permitted: distributing or reselling the app outside of the channels provided by Apple; renting or otherwise commercially exploiting the app itself; making unauthorized modifications; or circumventing security and access protection features such as the app lock.
Decompilation or other reverse engineering is permitted only to the extent expressly allowed by law. In addition, the currently valid terms and conditions of Apple and the App Store apply.
5. Your Login Credentials and Data
You generate the API key yourself in App Store Connect and can revoke it there at any time. You are responsible for the role and permissions you assign to the key, and for ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to your device.
The provider does not operate a server for your login credentials or reports and has no access to your local or iCloud content. If you send content to the provider yourself—for example, via a support email—the provider will receive that message.
If you use iCloud sync, the data required for this is processed via the iCloud services provided by Apple and synced between your Apple devices. Apple’s terms and conditions and privacy policy also apply here.
The reports you access with RingoView are subject to the confidentiality provisions of your agreements with Apple. You are responsible for what you share or disclose from within the app.
6. Storage and Synchronization
Login credentials, reports, and settings are stored locally. The optional iCloud sync synchronizes supported data between your devices; its functionality depends, among other things, on your internet connection, iCloud availability, and storage limits.
Synchronization is not an independent backup. The relevant reports are always stored by Apple in App Store Connect and can be downloaded again from there.
Selecting “Reset Data” will delete all local data from this device. Data already stored in iCloud will not be automatically deleted as a result.
7. Responsible Use
RingoView may only be used with login credentials that you are authorized to use.
The app must not be used to place an excessive load on Apple’s interfaces or to circumvent Apple’s terms and conditions. RingoView adheres to the published limits of the App Store Connect API.
Existing security features of the app, such as locking with Face ID, Touch ID, or a device passcode, must not be bypassed without authorization.
8. Availability and Changes
The provider strives to ensure the reliable operation of RingoView but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability at all times.
The availability of individual features depends on technical requirements, the operating system version, and third-party services—in particular, the App Store Connect API, Apple Intelligence, system localization, and iCloud. If Apple changes its APIs or reports, features may be temporarily or permanently unavailable.
The Provider may further develop, modify, or discontinue features to the extent permitted by law. Legal claims regarding required updates remain unaffected.
9. Liability and Third-Party Services
The Provider is liable in accordance with statutory provisions. These notes do not limit statutory liability claims.
The figures, conversions, forecasts, and AI summaries displayed in the app are for informational purposes only. For business, tax, or legal decisions, the original reports and statements from Apple are authoritative.
Apple and other third-party providers operate their services under their own terms and conditions. The provider of RingoView cannot guarantee their availability or performance; its legal responsibility for its own actions remains unaffected. The operators of linked websites are generally responsible for their content.
10. Termination and Deletion
You can stop using the service at any time, disconnect from App Store Connect, and revoke the API key in App Store Connect.
Selecting “Reset Data” removes local content and settings. This does not automatically delete values already stored in iCloud. Simply removing the app does not reliably eliminate copies in the iCloud Keychain or iCloud Keystore. For details, see the Privacy Policy.
11. Privacy
The Privacy Policy—which you can also find in Settings—explains what personal data RingoView processes, for what purposes this is done, and what rights you have.
In short: There are no provider servers, no tracking, no advertising, and no analysis of your usage for advertising purposes.
12. Governing Law
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply.
With respect to consumers, this applies only to the extent that it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence.
13. Changes to This Notice
The description of the app may be updated to reflect technical or legal changes. A new version of the text does not automatically amend existing contracts. If consent to amended contractual terms is required, it must be obtained separately.
Should a validly agreed provision be invalid, the statutory provisions regarding its consequences shall apply.
The version applicable to this app version is available here within the app. A web version can be accessed via the link provided on this page.
